With the NFL season starting tomorrow and not having an NFL forum, I figured we could just take the NFL discussion and keep it all in one thread as another off-season time killer. I know we still have quite a few people who like to talk football on here.

lol Jerry

Houston can be a dark horse team to sneak into the AFC Championship if they can figure out the offensive line and get something out of the Run game. The defense is going to be one of the best in the league and it can carry them some of the way if they can just get points on the board

Niners winning it all this season imo tbh fwiw.
Philadelphia looks like a favorite again but it's always hard to call. I think the Chiefs are on the down slide and we all know the Ravens are going to flame out the playoffs lol

My money is on Philly/Buffalo this year, though I could see KC getting there again.

Yeah I don't think Josh Allen is going to be held back again. And as much as my Houston roots makes me hate Buffalo, I'm okay with them getting it. That's a long suffering fan base. Strangely enough I'm watching a documentary on the bills right now talking about them losing the Super Bowls and outside of that just how great those teams were. Man it's hard looking at Jim Kelly. Guy has been through a lot

How bout them Cowboys!?

(They suck. And we Like it. We LOVE it.)

Not sure what to expect from the Lions tbh... dat 1st game again GB is gonna be interesting

All the coping I've been reading after the Parsons trade is hilarious.

WE GON BE DEM BOYS AGAIN GOBBLESS
Jerry Jones is a poverty owner, always thinking he’s in the driver’s seat until a crash and burn like Parsons. He was playing games, trying to drive a wedge between Parsons and his agent.

There have been only three players in the history of the NFL that have had double digit sacks in their first four seasons: LT, Reggie, and Parsons.

Jerry fucked up again.

I'm so fucking relieved to be done with Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. What a shit show organization. Jerry is easily the worst GM in all of professional sports.

Fans have figured it out. How long until top coaching candidates and top players start noping the big star in favor of actual winning?

Dallas might end up having a historically good offense paired with a historically bad defense. At least it will be entertaining?

Not with a run game by committee. But I’m not worried about the offense. They look to be solid there.

With cap space and pics it would be a nice change of pace if they shored up the defense via some trades.

My cowboys lost as expected choked it away surprising no one

Best thing about the start of NFL is that means that it's "Almost Basketball Season" Season

CD Lamb fucking sold hard last night. Dak threw him a couple of dimes that went straight through his hands.

What a way to start the season though, an injury and a ejection on the first play followed by like 6 or 7 consecutive scoring drives.

My Cowboys looked really good to start the year, I may actually not want to kill myself this season!

Chiefs doing the same shit they did last year except they got burned this time. I think we'll see that a lot more. We all know more times than once they playing got lucky last year. They should have taken like three more losses and I think they will take those losses this year.
