While I don't think thats what we do, I do think it's still an interesting concept. Between he, Fox etc there are some tough decisions in a couple years if we did it, but it would be an all-in fun couple of years.
This can't be overstated. We all see bright futures for Castle and Harper, but they only reach those lofty expectations if they can score from deep on a good clip.
I had Carter a little higher, but both in the same tier. Coward was more advanced and ready to contribute while Carter is more raw but with a higher upside. It really came down to what each team needed more.
One of the brights spots for me last night involved Mitch. Nola was laying off Castle leaving him completely alone to shoot a 3 from the top and he bricked it. Mitch immediately calls timeout and draws up a play for Castle to get a corner 3 and he nailed it. Thay type of coaching with an eye on...
I had VJ number 3. I went back and forth with several iterations of my board having him 2nd or 3rd. I felt he had a higher ceiling than Harper but a lower floor. I'm happy with how it played out, but VJ does have a chance to be very special.
Judging by the Press conference it sounds like Chauncey is involved with the sport side of this as well. La Cosa Nostra ties as well... over 30 arrests so far apparently...
I think down the road there's going to be a discussion surrounding Castle or Harper, but its years away. Any realistic trades to improve within the next year will center around Barnes, KJ, Sochan and picks.
About 6 months ago I thought Atlanta crashing was a real possibility, but not anymore. I still dont think they're good, but the East is so riddled with major injuries I dont see anyway they miss the playoffs.
