Spurs among most liked teams.

Funny how this would swap if it was done in the big 3 era. :st-lol:

Also, you can clearly see the reason behind the only fanbases that dislike the Spurs.

-Mavs and Rockets (state rivals).
-Lakers (historic rivals).
-Hawks (Dejounte trade lol)
-Suns (forever butthurt lol x ○○)

Interesting to see who Spur fans hate:

-Jazz (FTJ)
-Methlahoma

Love:
-Nuggets & Pacers (ABA solidarity)
-Pistons (lol always)

I used to hate Dallas the most now OKC tops the list with their constant (allowed) fouling and cringe behavior of their core leaders.

Hate (in order): Rockets, Lakers, Mavs
Strong dislike: Warriors, Heat Culture, Kawhi's team, Thunder

Like: Pacers (meh, I don't really like other teams, but I love narratives).

OKC. Their fanbase is obnoxious as all get out and their players are starting to get on my nerves too. Also, I can’t stand how they were ripped from Seattle like that.

Like: Nuggets, Pacers
Dislike: Suns, Mavs, Clippers (under Balmer), Grizz, Raptors,
Hate: Rockets, Dubs,
Fuck Them Forever: Lakers, Nephew

Fuck the Lakers above all, not just as a Spurs, but an NBA fan.
Rockets and Mavs after that.
Suns even though we always beat them.
OKC, Warriors, Clippers because of obvious things.
Current Grizzlies are an unlikeable bunch.
I don't have strong feelings about the rest of the West.

In the East I can't really hate the Heat because of how well they're ran.
Celtics fans are annoying even though we have a common enemy.
I really dislike Sixers because of Embiid first and foremost.
It's always enjoyable watching Knicks choke because of the memes.
Don't really care about the rest.

My hate in order as of the present

1. Houston
2. LA Lakers
3. OKC
4. Dallas
5. Golden St.
6. Memphis
7. Phoenix
8. Denver
9. New Orleans
10. Utah

Growing up it was the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Rockets, and Jazz in my top 5.

Clippers for giving OKC life and Sha together. Fuck balmer , fuck kawhi for lying and for extorting his way to bum ass paul george wheras Sha would have extended his career if he kept it up. What a dumb ass

Teams I'm rooting against currently:

1-Lakers (always)

2-Rockets
3-Mavs
4-OKC

I guess I should add the Hawks in here, but only because of the picks.

Like in order - Nuggets, Pistons, Bucks, Celtics, Pacers, Blazers
Dislikes in order - Rockets, Lakers, Mavs, 76ers, Clips, GSW, Grizz, OKC

I was definitely around and basketball aware for the series Hakeem cooked us, but even then I never had that hate with the Rockets. Don’t know why. Maybe because Yao was so hard to hate? And, later, because I loathed watching Harden specifically and didn’t ascribe it to the Rockets. They were also irrelevant for a while there.

In contrast, I will always feel a certain kinda way with the Lakers and Mavs. I will say, though, LeBron’s weak sauce move going to the Lakers cheapened that for me (he’s not a real Laker in my eyes). And honestly, I never felt threatened by a LeBron team thanks to the Big Three. We’ll see what happens with Luka… that boy is a killer.

My hate list (fans, not teams)
1. Phoenix
2. Denver (all teams)
2a. Houston (all teams)
3. Seattle
4. Kobe

It's hard to hate the Rockets for winning one playoff series. David pretty much dominated Hakeem H2H, so it was nice for a good dude to get his rings when he had the opportunity.

Houston fans are trash in every way. None of their teams deserve to win.

right now I hate the Bucks for letting the Rockettes come back from double-digits in their own building.

Fuck you Milwaukee

I've personally never run into particularly awful Rockets fans and have friends who follow the Rockets. I guess that plays a big part for me. Mavs fans tend to be twerpy and begging for attention, but then that's just Dallas. OKC fans are similar to Boston fans, in that they don't know anything about basketball but demand you talk about their team all the time. Warriors fans are bandwagon children, no matter how old they are. Lakers fans are glitzy frontrunners who can be found staring into overheated lamps like moths. Essentially the same thing.

I dislike Houston and their fans the most, my Laker hate has wained. Not a Methaloma fan either. Mavs I used to hate, but not so much these days...all that could change because Dallas is one of my least favorite cities in the world.

The OKC hate seems premature, but 💯 co-sign the hate for those 1990s Jazz team. Dirty bastards. There’s a reason they’ve been forgotten to time…

Hate:
Lakers - If not already anyway, an Ice Cube interview right before the 2020 finals (by Bill Simmons), put the icing on the cake. Just too coggy.
OKC - I gotta admit, that the small market, built the right way stuff should put them somewhere else, but the Seattle thing will not be forgotten and they are just to blessed and will be our rival for years to come.

Dislike:
Houston - Have a chance to move to "Hate", if they are still contenders once we get there.
Golden State - I just can't stand Draymond.
Atlanta - Just as long as we have their goods. After that (and once Young is gone) I may even like them.
Utah - I still have the sour taste of the Karl Malone era in my mouth. Also fuck GM Ainge!

Like:
Denver - Jokic and ABA history
Orlando - I'm german and they have three lovable germans
Indiana - ABA history
Boston - Just because they are the enemy of our biggest enemy.
Clippers - See Hawks put vice versa. They move to "Dislike" once they don't owe stuff to OKC.
Milwaukee - I just like Giannis

Honorable mentions:
Dallas - Because of the Dirk era I liked them even though I also hated them when we met in the Playoffs (and I somehow was rooting for the Warriors in '07)...Now I hate AD+Kyrie but feel for their fan base. That equals to no feelings at all.
Memphis - I don't like them but since Verno gives some fun insights about them, I somewhat feel for them.
Heat - Spoelstra might overtake Pops win record one day...but well, he really is good and I like how they try to win every year even without the best talent.

Now I have friends from Houston as well, but have sat in too many games vs the Rockets with truly obnoxious fans. The last time a drunk Rockets fan didn't fare to well and that was before they threw them out, Saw a lot of the same with Laker fans, fist fights and such, but the was the old days when there were a lot of bandwagon Laker fans at Spurs games. They were always on the losing end in scuffles. Don't go to games for that kind of bullshit.
