Player The restricted-age video store section of Dylan Harper

One of the most difficult matchups for him and it was a b2b, he was pretty bad early on, but managed to recover and deliver in key minutes which enabled Fox to be fresh in the clutch.

Not many players would've made that 3 he did.

Glad he took his lumps against Suggs - he'll have to face plenty of that aggressive defense in the future since OKC's not going anywhere for the next decade, may as well learn how to deal with it early on when expectations are lower

Its so fucking incredible how after the last what? 5 years of darkness that the Spurs are emerging the way they are.

All the pain was so worth it with this fucking core that is growing.

I think Tim hangs out with Manu and Pop and maybe Ninja, but I don't get a sense at all that he's hanging out with all these other Spurs except for Victor. I don't want to shock anyone, but I get a sense that just maybe Tim is a very reserved person and likes to do his own thing.
Tim is literally old enough to be Victor's father. I think his oldest daughter is only a year younger than Victor. I'm bringing this point up simply because very few guys are going to be friends and hangout with someone who is old enough to be their kid. Granted they can become a mentor if requested. I don't think Tim would refuse to mentor Victor if he asked for help. Tim has helped out other guys in the past such as Hibbert, Plumlee when they wanted to workout with him during the summertime. It's hard for me to imagine he wouldn't do the same if Victor wanted his help.

I think this is really much to ado about nothing.

If a night like tonight is an “off” game for him already then the league might be fucked tbh :st-lol:

Dude is a 19 year old rookie who missed most of training camp/preseason with an injury, and then played 5 regular season games before proceeding to miss another 10. In his 10th career game puts up 16/5/5 with a couple of huge plays down the stretch and it feels casual.

Hard to be any more excited about this kid. He’s a reliable jumpshot away from being a legitimate superstar…hell, with his ability to get to the rim and finish I’m not sure he can’t be a superstar even if his perimeter shooting never develops.

I know Castle can do very fast D-Rose-esque crossover and explode to the rim...

But somehow Harp gives me a more assured feeling of getting into the hole

Wouldn’t even trade him for Giannis at this point, since the talk is around getting Giannis again.

Unfortunately I didn't get to watch the game (probably why we won) but I'm watching the highlights of Dylan and you can see his head is always on a swivel to see where his teammates and defenders are. Some guys have horse blinders on but not him.

I think this all stems from some podcast KG did after spending a day with Wemby and Garnett said that Tim and Wemby tried a mentorship relationship and "it didn't go well" but 1) how would KG know and 2) what does that even mean?

Much ado about nothing. Timmy loves the Spurs and the Spurs are currently Wemby
iirc he didnt even say "it didnt go well" he just said that tim isnt around and there isnt really a relationship between tim and vic

edit: just went back and listened. he said "timmy aint in there. they dont even get a long, they aint even workin, that joint dont even come together"

Me thinks KG will just spin whatever to make himself look better than Timmy. We know who the true career loser is that could only win on an all time roster.

At this stage, the only worthiness of Paul is his teaching and expertise. He is no longer a competitive NBA player if you look at his Clips numbers this year.

The Spurs already have a veteran PG in Fox who is already leading by example. McLaughlin is good insurance and a bench warmer worth every cent of his salary. There is no need to replace him with a washed up veteran who is redundant for the Spurs' needs.

The Spurs will hope that Sochan turns a corner quickly or will target the trade deadline to find a more adequate PF replacement either by dumping Sochan and getting a veteran from waivers or trading Sochan for a more useful PF from a team that is desperate to shed salary/ clear capspace.

He hang out with Bruce Bowen also.. who used to coach his son

Agree..........

Called his number a bit too often against Orlando. That 2-1 fastbreak with Vassell ... pass the ball Dylan.

Again yesterday I read Spurs fans willing to package him in a Giannis trade :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Any Spurs fan that thinks Wright would be willing to include Castle or Harper in trade talks is clueless and should get up to speed with how their favorite team operates.
There are so many things Spurs never do included in that potential trade it's not even worth bothering with the scenarios.

That steal of Dylan.......

Shades of Manu......................!

Yeah, I love Giannis, but wouldn't trade Harper for him straight up. Rather Stick with the timeline while hopefully avoiding OKC's strongest years.

My point wasn't about Wright, he's not ballsy enough to do anything risky anyway.

My point was about our insane fanbase... BB is almost an island in the middle of Sochanville for ex :ROFLMAO:

Pop's grand plan.. with Timmy and Manu as co-planners
