I tried to see if I still had their number to see if we could somehow revive things... but no dice.

SpursTalk's current performance still gets a B+ in timvp's game grades though, tbh

I hope they are doing well. Kinda sucks that the old site has gone up in smoke and there are no signs of it coming back.

FYI, when I stepped through the signup proces on this site I selected Dallas-locale servers. We'll see how they perform compared to the old Slovenian hamster.

What an unceremonious end to such a long standing forum. Sucks that Kori and LJ didn't give a shit about it anymore but they missed their chance to cash out and give it to someone who cares. RIP SpursTalk. It was a good 20+ years

Tbh, it's better for it to die completely than whatever we had over the past few months.
As long as spurstalk shows signs of life, people won't fully migrate to this place.

And if anyone had any intentions of fixing it, it would've been done by now.

I don’t understand why they refuse to communicate with people. If they want to be done that’s fine but to keep it from the community is just ridiculous. Makes no sense.

Even if it actually comes back in working order I’d still rather everyone migrate here. They’ve shown a long history of being unreliable.

I even sent them an email through their contact us section in the main page concerning the server problems and nothing ever changed nor a reply back.

I still suspect they roll back to the basic price model during the off-season while paying for the eastern European premium model (one hamster) in October and onward.

I think they forget about the forum once the season ends but even during the season, the forum was laggy as hell.

Like others have said, hopefully it comes back so we put the word out that we migrated over here.

Yeah this is the craziest part to me. Timvp still finding the time/energy/will to post up some tepid article on betting lines, but doesn't GAF enough to let the forum know the website is going away.

Hopefully it pops up long enough to make a thread title with this web address. I’m sure a lot of people are unaware of this place.

We should keep an eye out for the spurstalk domain name expiring and scoop it up and have it redirect here.

If anyone could reach those two I’d be interested in just buying the domain name. This platform is obviously far superior.
