Usually how it goes for me as well tbh. I just set my lineups all the way through the end of the season and if someone gets injured and I don't swap them out, sucks to suck.I'm gonna sit this round out. Last couple seasons I was able to keep up for a while, but then got busy with other things. I'll leave the spots open for people who will be more active.
Let me know if you really need someone to fill a spot
Need one more team tbh.
Alright, count me inNeed one more team tbh.
Yeah no keepers; we do a full redraft every year.I see a lot of references to keepers on the league page... I assume with all the new teams we'll be resetting the rosters and starting from scratch?
Still one more spot.Is there still room in this league?
All good, league is set to draft as of now so the league chat will be enough to keep people updated.Hey guys, I'm not updating every thread that gets moved out of SpursTalk into the new forums, but doing so for this one so that nobody misses anything. Will relocate this to General NBA/Other Sports Talk soon. Be sure your all your league mates find there way to its new home.
Your roster is looking pretty good. Harper might be a stretch as a fantasy player this season, but overall your team is pretty solid.I spent some time looking at other teams in the league and I think most of them look stronger than mine. I think I went too young overall and also drafting Spurs-heavy could hurt. If multiple young guys take the next step forward in their careers (including Wemby having his first true MVP-worthy season) this might work out, otherwise I have my doubts.
Yeah that team does look very good. I guess we'll start to see where the holes on these rosters are once the season gets going. I get the feeling I will struggle with scoring too.Your roster is looking pretty good. Harper might be a stretch as a fantasy player this season, but overall your team is pretty solid.
To me, the Emanuel Ginobili team is looking like the team to beat. Two rookies is a stretch, but that roster is full of guys that can fill up the stat sheet.
Sengun is going to turn out to be the steal of every fantasy draft. That guy is going to be a monster this year.Nobody answered me, so I’ll just post until I’m told to GTFO as a non-BaselineBums Fantasy owner…
I took Sengun pick 11 first round in my draft, then, in 11th Round took Draymond. So, twixt the two I’ve recreated Jokic in the aggregate. LMAO … Last night the pair net me 16 assists, 6 stocks, 6 threes, and 78% FT on 14 FTA. Non-traditional C categories or non-traditional Jokic categories (the stocks). Also 47 points and 18 rebounds.
Still have Kessler and Missi as Centers to shore up FG% and Rebounds and Stocks.
And then entire team of guards and wings that is basically all 16-4-4 to 25-5-5 types who shoot a ton of 3s and generate a lot of FTs and some nice Stocks cumulatively.
Garland
Mitchell
DWhite
Murphy
Sharpe
Mathurin
With upside/flex options like Wells, Grimes, Monk
Was back to back 1st place in my league’s regular season but lost in Title Game last year after taking Title in 2024. Fox, Oubre injuries hurt last year. Lost steals in matchup by 5, which won him the Title. Fox and Oubre would have easily won me that category.
Once FVV went down, I moved him up to a 1st Round grade. His PnR with Durant and High-post facilitation will be key and heavily relied on in half-court sets. Saw it last night vs an elite defense and it was still mostly unstoppable.Sengun is going to turn out to be the steal of every fantasy draft. That guy is going to be a monster this year.
That'll happen throughout the season, especially now that Yahoo put all the lineup-setting features behind a paywall.Oops, I guess I'm throwing with Mathurin, Miller and Buzelis all on my bench today for no reason whatsoever. I could have sworn I set my lineup for each day this week a few days ago... Oh well, I was getting stomped anyway.
