Game Thread Spurs (45-17) vs Clippers (30-31) (Fri 03/06/26) [8:30 PM CST]

I was afraid of this game but with Garland and Collins out, I think that it should be an easy win. Kawhi will get his.

They're still the team to beat, esp with HCA throughout the Playoffs. Really hate that Morey gifted them Jared McCain at the trade deadline though tbh.
Agree, not going to underestimate them because they're the champs for a reason. Their defense is elite but their offense is pretty mediocre, though they've been missing Jdub a lot this season and he hasn't looked great when he does play. Spurs just match up well with them. Not scared to face them in the playoffs tbh. I hope we do

i also dont know thats its safe to assume that when j-dub comes back, everything is going to instantly click like getting the last infinity stone.

he missed the first 19 games of the year, then played in 24 games where he was... ok? like, he was good, but not all-star or all-nba good like he had been last year during their title run. they went 17-7 in those games. then he missed 10 more games, came back for 2 more, and has missed the last 9. the odds that he is going to come back seamlessly and they are going to go back to being absolute worldbeaters arent particularly great

with that said, despite everything ive said, they have the best record in the league and by far the best point differential, so they are clearly good enough to beat everybody and anybody regardless.

Nephew is playing amazing this year, interested to see how we take him on or if we just let him go off and shut down everyone else.

Well every game is an important one, but any team with Nephew on it furthers my desire for a win. He is playing well, but we can take this team.

Let's Go Spurs!

Hasn't been a repeat nba champion in a long time, so statistically the number one reason to underestimate them is because they won last year.

Interesting to see what kind of rotation Mitch runs without Barnes and Champ. Waters gets some time or just go 8 men deep?

Looks like both espn and fanduel will air the game…that is great when espn’s first game goes into OT…
