Game Thread Spurs (37-16) @ Warriors (29-25) (Wed 02/11/26) [9:00 PM CST]

Oh yeah... if we just stop chucking 3s, we'll be up double digits quickly.

Keep CB in the entire rest of the game
Rotate Harper but keep him in for a while and give him good minutes
Keep Fox with the ball in his hands when Wemby's sitting and even when Wemby's not sitting, and just have him drive in the paint and pass to wemby when he's not drilling the middy

Champ has kinda tailed off lately since he got the starting job

Spurs are lucky as hell to be down 4 and not 14 with that trash ass defense

Little perspective;

Warriors on a 4 game homestand…they have good coaching…they were able to have some practice sessions, rest, home-cooking, etc…

They did what a good team would do under those favorable conditions.

Mitch is laying down some calm advice and he is stressing how working hard in the second half is going to feel good during their coming days off.

Time to get to work.

even without curry and butler GSW still have the mental edge over us. would rather face anyone else in the first round tbh.

curry/draymond/kerr feast on inexperienced young teams in the playoffs and would bully us like they did HOU last year.

It’s just not a good matchup for us. They will live and die by the three in the playoffs and with our struggles defending the perimeter, that spells trouble.

i wonder if Castle could agree to come off the bench and be the sparkplug

so that Harper can start
Ya he's gonna drop one of the greatest Spurs statlines every recorded, then come back the next day on a bruised pelvis, so he can bench himself over harper LMFAO

Manu dropped 50 and then gladly played off the bench, tbh.

Fox is a nice player but not close to a max contract player tbh. Spurs need to move off him after next season.
Think if Miami strike out on Giannis that's the move. Spurs need to nail the timing of the trade ala Dejounte's to get something in in return instead of being forced into salary dump. I love the guy and i think he is Spurs material but that contract is crippling for his current and projected output as a player

Oh look, the guys that were playing well get back in, while the guys that were playing bad get out and we start dominating. Who would have thought?

Mitch sometimes makes life way too hard for himself sticking way too long with lineups that aren't working, and pulling too soon lineups that are.
He doesn’t have a feel
For the game. That’s a glaring issue. You either have it or you don’t. Pop was similar. Need great players to get past that.
