Game Thread Spurs (15-7) @ Pelicans (3-21) (Mon 12/8/25) [7:00PM CDT]

Cool to see us scorching a team on 3's instead of the other way around

lol sochan sniffers gonna need an all time excuse for his performance
“It’s not his fault, the Pelicans entire game plan was stopping Jeremy… he really allowed everyone else to go off with his gravity”

13 assists and 8 turnovers for the team as a whole.

Pelicans are in "the league needs to step in" territory of bad.
If you watch Pelicans home games semi-regularly on League Pass, it’s clear the entire league, including officiating crews, sees this as a work-play vacation spot. You fly in first class or by charter, get world-class accommodations and per diem, enjoy dinner or hit a club the night before, then have a nice brunch or a tasty lunch at one of the many world-class restaurants the next day. At this point, I’m not sure the league even cares.

That terrible call, where the ball clearly came off Murphy under the New Orleans basket with two officials watching, is just typical of the fog New Orleans seems to have over everybody.

I do not see the Spurs inviting Sochan back after the season, that's if he survives the trade deadline. Good gawd

I know this team is shite but it's SO good to see Harper have a response game after his blunder last game. Stuff stars are made of :st-praise:

Did Luke Kornet airball a layup? We going to act like that didn't happen and keep it moving :st-lol:

I can't fucking believe this team traded their 1st round pick in an absolutely stacked draft this year my GOD. Nico obv deserves the most shit but let's not forget to rinse the pels everytime we think about it

"spurs keep playing him out of position"

what's his real position?

awesome defense by vassell on that murphy drive
How could he possibly think help would come from the baseline? Throws his hands up when the obvious play is to take away baseline and force him into help

Mitch: "All right gais, we got this to 20. Let's blitz them the first 5 minutes of the 3rd, then I'll leave it to the friendship crew, Lindy and Byombo in to close this one out. Embrace the mundane. Huzzah"

this blowout surely won't last. all games against the pelicans are contractually obligated to be won or lost by single digits no matter how good or bad either team is.
