Clipped from the article:Wemby was seen at practice per jeff McDonald. Not paying for an express news sub to read the article. Hopefully he plays so he’s warmed up for lakers nba cup game
Wembanyama, who has missed 10 games with a strained left calf, is not expected to play in Monday's game against the Pelicans. He is likewise considered iffy for the team's NBA Cup quarterfinal matchup at the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
McLaughlin, out with a hamstring issue, is also expected to miss at least the game against New Orleans.
Castle, who has been missed nine games with a hip flexor strain, has not yet been ruled out for a return against the Pelicans. The Spurs expected to know more about his status following shootaround Monday morning.
In other injury news, center Luke Kornet -- who missed the loss in Cleveland with an ankle sprain -- is expected to be cleared to play Monday.
Fitting that he makes his return from his battle with AIDS against the Lakers, tbhI'm thinking Vic, with his dozens of DVT blood clots and massive weight loss (all reported first here on BB), might be back for the Lakers game.
I don't really care about the Cup, tbh. It's just that it would be nice to beat the Lakers. So Castle back Monday or Wednesday, and if Silver sends a defective set of refs too L.A. on Wednesday, no Wemby in Las Vegas next weekend. Does that sound about right?
I'm not sure how the scheduling works... but would we just end up with one of PHX/MIA/ORL/NYK/TOR (assuming OKC wins)? I'm not sure I really want to see PHX again until we've had some time with our team at full strength to really start clicking.I don't really care about the Cup, tbh. Don't care because it would mean OKC on the road in the semi-final, meaning we'd probably even out that Lakers L by having an easier regular season game afterwards compared to playing in Oklahoma.
Use the AIDS to destroy the AIDS.Fitting that he makes his return from his battle with AIDS against the Lakers, tbh
Regardless of who we get, it's guaranteed to be an easier game than OKC on the road.I'm not sure how the scheduling works... but would we just end up with one of PHX/MIA/ORL/NYK/TOR (assuming OKC wins)? I would think PHX as well, but we did play CHI 3 times one year because of the cupRegardless of who we get, it's guaranteed to be an easier game than OKC on the road.
I think it has to be another Western team since those are the floating games, I doubt we can play an Eastern team 3 times.
Booker is injured for at least a week, we'd probably beat the Suns.
I literally said the only reason I care about the Cup is because it's the Lakers.not caring about the lakers game is cope tbh.

same lmao. them and OKC. Any other team I wouldn’t care at allI literally said the only reason I care about the Cup is because it's the Lakers.![]()
