The announcers were really missing me off. They kept praising the OKC defense for all of our missed open shots. We started 0-12 from 3 and eleven of them were absolutely uncontested. Butter Barnes, who has been on a roll lately, couldn't drop it in the ocean from the Titanic. Now, they did abuse the passing lanes, but many of our opponents have. Our players are turnovers machines under Mitch. OKC was also allowed to mug Castle all game long. Dort got a clean block on Wemby, but Butthead was grabbing Wemby from behind, impeding his drive, but no whistle.

I.love Mitch's strategy at the end. He played the FT game. Pop used to let the other team shot 3s and it would hurt us at times. Mitch decided to foul. In the future, if we make our FTs, we win going away.

Idk I felt like the commentators pointed out a bunch of times that the Spurs were getting good looks from three but just missing. Van Gundy even said at one point if the Spurs hadn't been extremely cold from deep to start they'd be running away with the game. I didn't think they were overly biased towards OKC personally

Van Gundy even said at one point if the Spurs hadn't been extremely cold from deep to start they'd be running away with the game. I didn't think they were overly biased towards OKC personally

Personally, really enjoyed the banter between SVG and D Wade, especially when he trolled "deep analysts" by saying the Spurs are a whole lot better when VW plays. Did appreciate his comments late about what a wonderful game it was and what a treat it was to see both teams going at it so hard and skillfully in an intense game.

but at the same time, OKC shot 24% from three, they are not going to be that bad all the time, they are usually shooting 37.4% as a team.

We are playing them two more times in December, we'll see after that if we have a chance to beat them in a 7-game series.

TBH the thunder have been a thorn to the spurs even in Duncan years. If I recall, we only beat them in 2014 but lost to them in 2012 and 2016 in the playoffs. And 2016 was so disappointing, we should’ve had that year, i don’t even know what happened there.

So we’ll see how this goes this time around!
