Trade Official 2025-2026 Trade Deadline Thread

So 1-4 protects Pacers, 10-30 protects Clippers

Clippers got some ammo to do another PG3 trade

Spurs should have a running joke that they didn't get the trade proposals submitted by the deadline.
They should post a picture of trade paperwork for Giannis going into an unplugged fax machine

Clippers aren't catching the bottom 6 but OKC probably getting a Top 10 pick this draft or better. Lame tbh.

Jollins possibility??

OKC winning the trade deadline unless Nephew goes nuclear MVP mode, what a JOKE

They really don't have much incentive to tank either outside of their games with the Pacers.

They lost talent but I think they'll still compete tbh.

I gotta believe that Ja is getting moved last minute tbh.

Surely they got wind of the hammer dropping on Kawhi soon (a suspension of some kind). They can't trade him, but will sell high on the rest essentially flushing out this season

Malaki on the move again lol. At least he's joining the hottest team in the league tbh.

I doubt the hammer is coming this season if Nosferatu just named him to the All Star team tbh.

Good guess. Surely it's something like this and not all because of Harden asking out? Surely Hardern didn't cause all this?

Man what a let down of a trade deadline. Had some decent expirings and didn't do jack shit with them to address the massive hole at PF. Does Brian Wright know today is the deadline??

I do think that the idea of not going into the offseason over the cap and the trend of selling 2nds does have to do with money. I get that from a GM and competiton standpoint we don't factor in cash flow, but I wouldn't be mad if the reason we are not carrying salaries into next season and selling 2nds are for cash consideration purposes or business reasons, especially if it makes us a big tax paying team when the time is right.
I agree, this is a real consideration we never think about because it's the least satisfying reasoning for fans since we don't participate or root for the team's Profit & Loss Statement... but for sure it is a reality of being a fan of a small market team.
