This is intended to be the opposite of the "everything will be okay" threads. I’m not saying you shouldn’t get your unfounded optimism out in those threads. You should. But then come here for a little reality check to recenter your vibe.

We came into this stretch thinking the Top seed in the West would be a within reach this season. Now we are tied for #3 and a full 6.5 games behind the Thunder. I don’t think we are even the third best team in the league… and we’re starting to fall behind schedule. One win against a failing Bucks team doesn't change that.

Nothing will be okay. Nothing will be. Okay?

Ps: Don’t come in here and bring the vibe up. Just go back to the "everything will be okay" thread or r/spurs. Again, I encourage you to do that. Think of that as the padded safe space where as this is the lobby of the realism. Breeeeeeeathe.

Nothing will be enough to be okay for some fans. Not even a team in 2nd position in a highly competitive WC after years in the wilderness without playoff contention. Yeah..the Thunder are still closer to championship contention than the Spurs. But the Spurs are 3-1 against them in three intense regular season games and are second in the WC above Denver (Champs in 2023), Minnesota (Conference finalists in preceding seasons), Lakers (with 2 HoFs), Houston (No 2 last season and who have upgraded with a HoFer) and the fading Warriors dynasty.

Thats indeed ahead of the schedule.

I was kidding at first but now I really want to do this. I've been doing all sorts of AI projects in my free time just to expand my skill base for use in my actual career, I think this will be next one.
