Nothing will be okay

Always making me laugh when I see this thread pop back up in the first page lol

This is where not getting a solid 3rd big man like a Barlow type comes back to bite them in the ass. Missing 9 free throws as well

Great job, Mitch.
Wow 27-10 run to finish the game. Didn't realize Portland's run was so big. They took that game from them. May have cost this young Spurs team the season. I would have rather they learned these lessons in the regular season and had more losses there.

The regular season cannot prepare for this. Before the season started, a second round exit was the best case scenario and somehow Wemby's ascension and this successful regular season made people think that playoff experience do not matter for this team. But this team is flawed and it is good that the FO can see that now. Fox stepping up should be enough to get us past the Blazers without Wemby, but thats it. They can't stop the Nuggets, they never stopped Ant. Harper and Castle already look overwhelmed now, this does not improve in the second round when the pressure ramps up even more. On top of all that come injuries. They are already beaten up severely after only two games. Lets stop thinking about OKC. Its not our time yet.

Blazers have Jrue and that's it. We're playing against an equally inexperienced team.
Not to mention Splitter also being a rookie coach.

We didn't choke this one away because it's the playoffs, we choked it away because we made the same wrong lineup/gameplan decisions we did in a lot of our regular season losses.

We are making Scott Henderson look like the 2nd or 3rd best player in the series. Enough said, really. This goes beyond Wemby's concussion, too many guys on our side are underperforming relative to expectations (Fox, Castle, Keldon..).

Like you said, they are lucky they got the least pedigreed team in the entire playoffs bracket. Should they survive this series, and depending on Wemby's health status, it is perfectly fine to revise one's expectations from next round because it appears to me like Denver-Minnesota are playing totally different sport in the other series. The intensity, physicality, and execution is 2 notches above what SA/POR have shown so far.
