I don't really care much for this one, but since Spurs have so many things going on, I thought it would be the best if we had one topic for the weekend instead of having it all over the place.
Mitch and his staff will coach the veteran USA team, Wemby is obviously team World, Steph and Dylan are in the rising stars challenge, CB is competing in the dunk contest.

Wemby is so serious in post game interviews, but after beating GS last night he was interviewed on the floor by ESPN. He talked about the All-star break and he smiled A LOT and looked relaxed in a way I’m not accustomed to seeing from him. It seems that he needs a break from his strict routine and is looking forward to it.

I don’t know if anyone’s noticed, but he has had this frown right before tip-off for the past month. Bro is 💯 locked in. I think between he and Castle - the toughness and mental fortitude being instilled into these young players is a sign of really good coaching by Mitch and staff.

You're not allowed to give Mitch any credit here....

He’s earned it. He’s played great for the most part in the first half, and we have an excellent record.

Love that the Spurs are so diversely represented in the ASB and it's all low stakes stuff... Well, CB's hair may be at stake, he's gotta be worried :st-lol:

Looking forward to the ASG in particular. I think Jamal Murray said it well the other day - players know that Wemby has an intensity to him, and hopefully it translates into meaningful play. Lord knows the stakes rise up if you get your shot Abducted with everyone watching..... :st-hungry:

So what's the World team looking like after all the injuries? I can only remember Wemby, Jokic, Murray and Avdjia.

Don't really care much about these "games" but will have to check it out given the number of guys we have playing/participating.
Is this a record for most Spurs in a weekend?

Nice, congrats to Fox tbh.

Castle likely deserves it over him but, from a team vibes perspective, I think it's probably better that Fox got the nod instead.
Fox has carried the team while Wemby was out, way more impactful than Castle if we take the entire season into consideration.

Averaged 24ppg on 49/39/84 while Wemby was out.

I commented a few times in the Voting thread that Giannis had yet to be replaced... low key hilarious that Giannis wasn't ruled out until just now despite his injury being pretty well known it would extended weeks beyond the ASB. What about Luka's spot tho?

Congrats to Two-Time All Star De'Aaron Fox! SpursTalk Fox Haters in shambles
