Predator Badlands was fun. I like the whole Wayland-Yutani universe they are building... I want to see a spin off that has nothing to do with the Alien or Predator stories, but just a corporate finance/legal drama about the formation of Wayland-Yutani

One Battle was good, maybe a little too preachy for me instead of just straight entertaining. Sean Penn was terrific.

I thought Zootopia 2 maybe was more clever and just as funny as the first one, although I didn't like the characters as much.

Did anyone else think F1 sucked? Like "Pearl Harbor with race cars" sucked? I feel alone on this.

I couldn't stop rolling my eyes at the hackneyed dialogue and contrived conflicts. The racing scenes were okay I guess, but it was such a Jerry Bruckheimer cliche throughout.

In this house, Jerry Bruckheimer is a hero. End of story!

Saw Hail Mary this weekend. Gosling is great and makes the movie a solid popcorn flick but the storyline is nothing new or original. If the alien had a glowing finger, it would have been the complete perfect ripoff of E.T.

The whole thing took a turn that I did not expect but I found it hilarious.

I was impressed at the computer program's ability to incorporate perfect comic timing into the translation of Rocky's dialogue.

A lot of it (like that) was pretty silly but I loved it overall. Kind of how I felt about the book, found myself rolling my eyes a lot but still enjoyed the read.

(I also don't buy the decision he makes towards the end would ever occur in a real life scenario.)

Crime 101 6/10

Chris Hemsworth, Halle Berry, Mark Ruffalo
Good casting. Plot keeps moving at a decent pace. The romance between Hemsworth and the chick he meets is pretty contrived.
I like crime movies where both the criminal(s) and the police work is believable.
Meh, it's good at times but mostly just above ave.
Otherwise a lot of "been there seen that" in many crime dramas of past n present.
