Scott's Thoughts
  • First off, no thank you to the person who went and and made a bunch of repetitive submissions of Mitch with a 1 and everyone else with a 5. Something looked amiss when I first compiled these and the grades were very off from what my eyes told me. You know who you are. I know who you are too. Stop being a fucking pest, it is endearing to no one
  • Absolute stinker from Vassell, maybe his worst game all season? Let's see how he bounces back tonight because that was not good
  • Castle redeemed himself in the 4th quarter with some great buckets and defense. The first half was quite poor from him. Tonight we also saw how much smoother the offense runs with Fox as the primary initiator. Maybe eventually we'll open our eyes to this.
  • Fox was a really fantastic distributor last night, with several more potential assists left on the table. I can see how this is the kind of performance where people would be begging him to be more aggressive though. Only 15.9% USG is too low. We have yet to strike the proper balance with him offensively. The advanced boxscore tells a story, so I've posted it below.
  • Wemby with another statline that deceives. Thought he was the one playing down to his opponent last night, which is not acceptable.
  • Keldon, just an absolute beast.
  • Mitch... wyd?

What You Said:
  • @spurs10 - It was a strange dynamic watching this game. Hope people are working on their FTs. On to Dallas.
  • @mazerrackham - Hate these late games, asterisk to my grades as I'm only able to watch the first half haha. Seems that the second half was frustratingly lackadaisical, though.
  • @LeBowen - Daring a team of G-leaguers to beat you from 3pt is a fireable offense.

@scott what does julian champagnie have to do to get his name clicked on bballreference?
Good catch... I'm on my work PC right now... I'm curious what my BBREF click history looks like on my iPad and home PC now :st-lol:

The high TO percentages of Champagnie and Barnes, two guys who are predominantly play finishers and not ball handlers/creators, jumps out when looking at the advanced stats.
