What You Said:
  • @spurs10 - Everybody gets a ribbon! Much needed beatdown of the Suns!
  • @Mugen - This 5 for Biyombo is specifically for my guy @scott, the 'Assistant Coach' leading the guys to a double digit blowout!
  • @mazerrackham - Vic gets a 5 based solely on his game-bending defensive impact. Granted Phoenix was banged up, and Booker sat the 2nd half, but the rest of Phoenix just could not handle Vic's defensive presence at all which meant their offense had no hope.
  • @PhantomDashCam - Grade inflation game. Good Guys were unstoppable. Biyombo played a quarter and was only a -4. 5 stars.
  • @heyheymymy - This Spurs team is gelling at just the right time.
  • @LeBowen - Taking care of business.

You know we are back when you start tasting those Big 3 era stress-free games again on a more frequent basis.

The Spurs are on a roll and peaking at the right time. They need to experience these winnings and correlate to what they do, trusting each other, trusting the process, sticking with it while weathering runs by the opponent. Last night, they kept their feet on the pedal without letting go. They need to when they smell blood, “kick the opponent on the chin.” Castle attacking the rim is the key, Fox one-guy transition offense with his speed, and Wemby not settling on 3’s, plus anchoring the defense. While the rest starts learning their roles, and not needing or expected to get out of their comfort zone, become specialists on their roles. That’s Pop’s coaching during the championship years, players just expected to do their roles, nothing more, just specialists of what they do best. Great stuff!

We've had some pretty favorable scheduling on this streak, however... I don't want to get too far out over our skies until I see what we look like @ DET
