Hey all,

I'm scheduling a board upgrade to begin Monday evening at 11:00 PM central. This allows 24 hours of post All-Star game discussion while providing a 3-day buffer before the Thursday night game against Phoenix. *No* we can't roll back if Phoenix wins.

It's appears to be mostly a bug-fix upgrade, so should not expect to see major changes; we're upgrading from 2.3.7. to 2.3.8. There's a discussion found here, https://xenforo.com/community/threads/xenforo-2-3-8-add-ons-released.235384/, if any of you nerds want to go looking for trouble. This will be my first upgrade on this platform, so don't know exactly how it will go, but it's presented to me as a one-click task. We shall see.

If anything looks different after the upgrade that you think needs to be looked at, please post details here and we'll address. If there are major problems, I'll be busy shaving my head.

Is this a real board upgrade, or just something you post on the forum to keep the masses at bay? :)
 
I've been lied to before about a board being upgraded. It's been like five years of promises from this other board so I'm a little wary.

Upgrade completed successfully and we're still here. I'll kick the tires later, but hopefully we can put a bow on this and we move on. Holler if you notice problems.
 
Please let us know if there are any visual changes as well, we did quite a bit to change the look and feel of the forum including some custom development, so it's always important to double check once upgrades happen.
So far I haven't noticed anything, but good to keep an eye out!
