I know this isn't necessarily spurs related, but this rookie class has been absolutely bonkers to start the year, and wanted to open a discussion.

Currently it looks like the rookie ladder is:

VJ
Harper
Flagg
Coward
Fears

Currently watching Raptors v. Rockets & CMB is just a ball player man. Love watching these players.

theres kind of a VJ thread already where you can discuss this. its huge thread

Edgecombe cooled off big time after the first week..Gonna be Cedric Coward vs Flagg in the end with Harper maybe making a late push in the season, but he won't win (Spurs too stacked at guard position, and he's going to miss plenty of games likely 10-15)..

Watching the Hornets, Knueppel looks great.

I'm not going to say Klay, but his jumpshot is effortless.

yeah Kon has played about as well as even his biggest fans would have hoped. just seamlessly took his college game into the NBA.

i wasnt as big a believer as most, but he's been proving me wrong. the shooting has absolutely carried over so far... 40% on over 8 attempts per game is amazing, and he's been doing the other stuff too. to be seen how the defense holds up long term. as it stands theyre a bottom 6-7 defense and a 3-7 team overall

Kon with 20/5/8 with only 1 turnover against the Warriors today on 7-11 from the field and 4-7 from 3

its actually kind of ridiculous how good he's been

still think Flagg will win ROY as he's been going off since they stopped the PG nonsense with him, but this version of Kon certainly would have won last year and frankly would have been in legit ROY talks in the banchero year as well

We’re going to differ on this. Kon is a knockdown shooter, but he’s a support piece. 56% of his 2s are assisted, as are 95% of his 3s. The only award that type of player wins is the ASG 3 point contest.
