Knowing Wemby, he will have watched a lot of film on what went wrong in the previous encounters and he will be prepared. I like our chances when Wemby is on the court. The real challenge will be in the 10-12 minutes when Wemby will be resting. On offense, I hope Mitch puts in Dylan and lets him...
Harper is amazing. Such poise while handling the ball, efforts on defense, sticks to gameplan and is world class as a finisher. Now if the kid is even league average in shooting..he can threaten to be an All Star. Bright future ahead for this kid.
Barnes is cooked, methinks. Spurs need Sochan on the floor as PF. And maybe Sean Marks can do the Spurs a solid in Feb by trading Michael Porter Jr for Barnes, Olynyk and a FRP (Hawks swap?)
Indeed. This is one game where Vassell's presence was vital for the Spurs. He not only hit a key three in OT that helped the Spurs win, but was active throughout the whole game. He has clearly taken his game up at least one notch since last season so far. This is the Vassell that is a vital role...
This. I dont know the guy who has probably the most authoritative sounding voice on any broadcast (the one with the baritone). But it is a pleasure to hear the NO broadcasters. Less of homers and more of analysts.

But in terms of potential, Harper and Castle can look upto TP and Manu in the way they shaped themselves up for success.
Spurs are incredibly blessed to have Castle and Harper at this point, methinks. Gives me TP/Manu vibes if these two are a different kind of combo than Duncan's running mates.
What I like about these two are their positional strengths plus versatility. Castle is a solid wing with playmaking...
The kid deserves a nickname ..something like D-Smooth. You watch him and the word Smooth keeps ringing. Best draftee barring Wemby in a decades, I think.
