Don't look now but Wemby's EPM is now at 8.0, 99th percentile. DEPM (defense) is 4.1 (!), 100th percentile. And Offense OEPM at 3.9, 97th percentile. SGA is the only other NBA player who has crossed 95 or more in both offense and defense.

Yeah. I agree with those who say this would be a very tough match-up for the Spurs. Unlike Rockets/ Pistons and even the Thunder.. who are not particularly three point shooting teams.. The Spurs have found it tougher against the Warriors, and Knicks who have some nuclear three point shooting...

There is a good possibility of Charlotte upending one of the Florida teams or vice versa (Charlotte getting into 7-8 and then losing to Magic/ Heat) and your scenario happening. I think the Spurs' most likely lottery pick will be between 12 and 14

We should popularize a new name for the block-plus-steal maneuver that Wemby has made a specialty of. Perhaps, call it the "swallow" or because of its err.. connotations.. maybe, "the gulp".
