last season we would’ve collapsed when the other teams came back. Beating bad teams is what good teams do. It’s a strange argument from him. Just looking ahead at the schedule and I have us at 20-10 on our first 30 games
That was a different scouting department and different regime. Pretty sure a buncha people got fired after the Tatum mishap.
Tbh I’m glad they got Morey bc he’s the one who set them back. Dude just keeps trading for horrible contracts or handing them out. That PG13 one is an all time robbery...
Crazy how you ended up agreeing with me in the end. In a 7 game series I don’t expect Sochan to lock down or even slow down SGA. And neither do you. It’s nice that SGA had one bad game against us last year. But that has nothing to do with the playoffs.
And when have I hated on Vassell this...
I said from the get go that we have the talent on the top to compete with OKC. It was the role players that I was worried about.
But now I think that we are pretty good when it comes to role players. The problem is that I don’t think we match up particularly well with them.
Dort will smother...
Should Castle be benched? I’m not hating on him but I’m wondering what to do with him. Fox coming back basically takes up Castles entire role. And with Devin playing like he’s playing I think you have Devin as your 3rd option in the starting line up.
A Castle/Harper bench mob would play at a...
Devin is playing quite well. He still has gone chucker mode (against the Pels) and every now and then in games. But it has gotten a lot better.
What happens though when Fox comes back and starts taking shots away from him? Does he maintain this energy on the defensive end when he isn’t shooting...
Castle was doing that shit too. I’m just like guys you have a generational big man. Feed him the effing ball.
Finally they gave him the ball down the stretch and the game was over after that.
Is Embiid like done done? Are his knees too far gone? Or is there hope he returns back to near form? Bc if so then they are a title contender this season. It’s really just the Knicks and the Cavs this year
Manu feasted on everybody tbh. Nobody could guard him. The problem was actually Beno kept shitting the bed in the playoffs. I personally think the Spurs gave up on Beno too early but the bench unit didn’t have anybody that could score/ run the offense so Pop just put Manu in that role.
And bc...
Do the Nets view MPJ as their future going forward? I feel like maybe they would be glad to get rid of him and his contract. I mean $40 million a year is a lot of money for him. I’m not against the Spurs going after him and he is an interesting prospect that kinda offsets Sochan a bit.
