Whenever I see Harper play, he reminds me of a young Kobe Bryant. Give Harper a year of experience and he'll be really dangerous. I can easily see him being our lead guard if Castle or Fox are ever traded. Can't stress enough how lucky the spurs were to get this guy.

A lot of teams ask for a lot of compensation for their players, but as as the trade deadline nears , they may start lowering heir asking price out of desperation. Lets see what shakes out in the next few days. Hopefully we don't wait too long. In the same vein, I'm sure some teams are waiting...

Bey is doing pretty well this season and he is on a cheap contract. That in itself makes him worth taking a 2nd look at. I'm sure the Pels are looking for a sell high offer from some team.

Agree, Sochan isn't all that great in our system, but at least he's competent. At times TJ looks totally lost.

This is a very around the edges trade Spurs send Sochan and a 2026 2nd rounder to Detroit Pistons send Paul Reed and Bobbi Klintman to the spurs Nothing earth shattering but doable. The pistons like defense we need bigs, works for both teams.

There are no easy wins in the NBA. Teams are sometimes injured, sometimes tired from a back to back, sometimes don't give a crap or all the above. If we're fortunate enough catch a team on a bad day then maybe its an easy win. Otherwise it will be a battle. Don't take these guys lightly...
