Was it 2015 when the Spurs lost the last game to New Orleans* and fell from 3rd to 6th in the WC standings in one fell swoop; then lost to the Clippers in the first round in seven?
Was that also the year they got stuck on the runway leaving NO for a playoff game in LA the next night?
Don't...
Other draftees with Spurs ties:
9. Micah Potter "The one thing Potter does consistently well is shoot. He's above 40% from 3 on almost seven attempts per 36 minutes."
14. Sandro Mamukelashvili "He's not a super rim protector but he gets by alright on defense. He's 26. And he's shown enough...
Interesting what it says about the Kings effort when DDR laid into them about their defensive intensity a couple minutes into a Spurs run just after the start of the first half. HB got a uncontested dunk and Christie called a timeout.
Much as it was fun to watch Lindy splash threes, I dozed off...
One of the attributes Jacob and Sean talked about the first night he played was his foot speed. Made it sound like that was a positive trait for the Spurs so they can continue to play high tempo when he comes in.
One thing that might be a factor is whether having two mega-market teams in a division gets the best revenue draw and competitiveness league wide; ex: LAC and LAL or NYK and BRO.
Durability? Kornet's played 57 games, missing 10, and is ranked 28th in games played by a center. Five games more than VW's 52 (41st). The Spurs are 42-15 in Luke's games played compared to 39-13 for Vic's.
A third center is a great draft idea, although probably for Austin. Depends on how well...
Growth and development, I believe is how Jacob Tobey relayed it to Sean. His younger sisters are high level athletes, also. One is signed to play basketball at Kansas next year.
