Resurrecting the only semi active thread in ST's tech forum. What video game are you playing right now?

I'm just about done with Dying Light: The Beast. It's been an enjoyable ride, enough so that I've been putting off finishing the main quest because I don't want to be done with it :st-lol: Really wish they had just done this for DL2 rather than the game they ended up making

recently started TLOU part 2, but havent had time/energy to play at all last couple of weeks. hope to get back into it and finish it up before watching season 2 of the show

after that i plan to play Demon's Souls remake. then onto Elden Ring eventually

Nba2k25... I'm not getting duped into buying the new edition for the 20th yr. :)

Nice, finally. I'm interested to see your thoughts as you progress

Absolum
Before that game, I played FF Tactics, Borderlands 4, Clair Obscur

Yall play anything like "Cup Head"? My lady loves that game and she wants another similar but I haven't researched similar games yet. Any suggestions? She did play "It Takes Two" prior to her obsession with "Cup Head".

I'm too busy with work and projects. Currently working on converting an XB1 case into a PC case by re-engineering all side panels and raising the case a good 4 inches or so. So far, both sides are done and just need to design the front and back panels.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll show my lady this game trailer when she gets home here in a bit. Thanks again Ok Computer.

Btw, I take it you're a big Radiohead fan? (y)

Dune Awakening - if anyone is interested in going from level 1-180 hit me up, server Red Maw. Probably the best MMO since Everquest

Super Mario Galaxy, pirated on Switch 1, because no fucking way I'm paying $70 for the Switch 2 port of two old ass Wii games.

Dying Light 2 was like the gaming equivalent of Snoop Dogg's second album. GTA IV will always take the #1 spot on my most disappointing games list, but DL2 is solidly #2. Is The Beast as must play as DL1 was?

Ah man that's my fever dream, GT7 on PSVR2. I should've bought that VR when it was on sale close to a yr ago for $300.
I wish I could enjoy VR but it just makes me want to puke and makes the room spin like I drank a 30 pack.

Their music saved my life, tbh
I haven't listened to RH in forever, I should though, but RH is still one of my favorite bands.

I have a funny story about a buddy of mine who resides in LA. Damn near 20 yrs ago my buddy calls me late at night, 1-2am or so, just to let me know he's hanging out with Tom York and Elijah Wood at some rave of sorts. I told him he was full of shit and he sent me possibly one of the first ever selfies known to man, lol. Anyhow, my buddy was in front of the DJ setup and behind the vinyl was both Tom York and Elijah Wood spinning records. I swear my buddy lives in make believe world out there in LA. I never would've figured both TY or EW were both into DJ'ing.

Imo, yes. You're one of the only people that I'm aware of that favors DL1 as much as I do and I felt like it was a must play for DL1 fans so I would say so. If you hate it then my bad :st-lol:

I got mine the moment they dropped the price to $299 - did they go back up?

GT7 on PSVR2 is the most immersive experience I've ever had in any game, any system... it is truly amazing.

I've watched others on YT with that setup. I believe the last time I saw the PSVR2 at the store it was like $450. I'm still kicking myself in the ass over not purchasing it at sale.

That's what my friend's oculas did to me. That was yrs ago so I'm not sure what the tech is like these days. Even with the headaches, the experience was surreal.

The first time I did GT7 in VR it definitely made me feel a little queasy no lie... but you take it in slow chunks (like 10 minute sessions and then take a significant break), and have a fan on you while you play and you get used to it pretty quick. Honestly makes you wonder how safe these things are if your body reacts to them that way :st-lol:

My dad loved fishing all his life, but eventually became disabled so he was not able to go anymore. I bought him the Metaquest because it has this realistic fishing game. He loves it, plays it everyday, and I think for purposes like that, the VR is wonderful.

I was doing three minute sessions and shit made me feel stumbling drunk lol. Specifically on the Rabbids VR arcade game on an HTC Vive where it was like you're riding a roller coaster. Hated that it made me sick because it was an incredible experience otherwise.
