Click the three vertical dots at the end of the toolbar, spoiler function is in the menu.

Task has been great, Ruffalo has been killing it.
I Know This Much Is True was also great.

Btw, I don't think we need topics for every show, how about we have one TV shows and one Movies topic?

Pluribus by Better Call Saul / Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan is coming out soon. I’m fucking hyped. Better Call Saul is one of my top shows of all time.

Task has been great. My wife and I are really enjoying it. New season of Tulsa King has been pretty fun too

From currently onoing shows The Lowdown and Slow Horses are also good.

For those who are watching Task and enjoying it, you should also see Mare of Easttown. It’s by the same director and it’s brilliant.

I'll caveat this with an admission that I fall asleep during all shows, no matter how much I love them. It takes me a whole week to watch one episode :ROFLMAO:

With that said, Foundation is what I'm currently on and enjoying.

Did Netflix just pull the plug on Narcos before we got to the El Chapo story?

Ian Rouselle's Full Custom Garage or better yet Full Custom Ian on YT.

ive been watching Succession. just started the 4th and final season

one of the better ensemble acting performances i can recall

oh fuck off

(Succession was really good)
yeah its really good. i dont think its anywhere near my top 5 or anything like that, but purely from an acting perspective, basically everybody in the main cast is delivering great performances.

just as far as acting jobs, it might be the best. other good recent-ish ones are Better Call Saul, Chernobyl, Season 1 of True Detective (though thats really just 2 guys carrying it)

It really has been tough to find new shows that I enjoy. I have found myself going back and checking out old ones. I think I'm about to do the first season of Altered Carbon again. I put it right up there with the best executed first seasons ever.

Loved the general concept of Altered Carbon and kind of wish there was a way to just explore that world more. The second season lost me right away.

New season of South Park has been fire tbh (won't go into details for obvious reasons).

They did the same thing with Westworld. So much potential but they lost it so quickly

Season 1 with Ed Harris and Anthony Hopkins is 10/10.

Since we're talking SciFi, what's everyone's favorite show?
I have to go with The Expanse. I was so obsessed with it that I had to read all the books and novels.
For those who haven't seen it, the show has 6 seasons which cover 6 books, but there are 9 books.

The scene where he goes full Hannibal Lecter stopping everything with his finger as he informs her this is his world and she is nothing more than a guest. I felt it in my chest.

This one is probably my favorite:

*Obviously don't click play if you haven't watched the show, spoiler alert.

The whole season was an acting clinic. Should have just made it one season and called it a day

Best Sci Fi show ever? Probably Battlestar Galactica.

Three Body Problem is looking promising though, if that show continues and is good from start to end, then it becomes a contender for GOAT.

Black Rabbit on Netflix.
By the same folks who brought you Ozark (more or less).
Bateman and co produced and is the co main player along with Jude Law. Laura Linney directs a few eps.
Totally has both the good and bad aspects of Ozark.
Good: Slow but very nice build that gradually draws in additional characters. Bateman good at casting, esp villians.
Bad: Gets too convoluted just like Ozark. You don't mind suspending belief for some things but like 'Ark as it goes on you're like sheesh just have one side win, get it over with. Too much back n forth.
8 eps so not a huge investment.

If we're talking new shows that started this year, I think Your Friends and Neighbors is my favorite.
John Hamm killed it.
A hedge fund manager resorts to burglary after losing his job, targeting wealthy neighbors to maintain his family's lifestyle, but makes a fateful error breaking into the wrong home.

Best TV release so far this year for me is a tie between S2 of Andor and Paradise.
