NO MAGIC REQUIRED, SPURS BEAT ORLANDO TO MOVE TO 15-6
Scott's Notes:
Scott's Notes:
- Not a flashy stat line for Luke, but he was battling all game and provided solidity in the paint. I was shocked how many times Wendall Carter Jr just bulldozed Luke to the ground while the ref just stared at them. And of course... the game sealing block and Usain Bolt pose that will forever go down in Spurs lore
- What I love about some of these games where Fox isn't on fire to start is that he sticks with it and still finds a way to deliver for us in the 4th. It happened against MEM and again against ORL. Every player will have an off game from time to time, but having a guy who we can consistently rely on to put up points is huge when you think of it in the context of the larger picture. When Wemby and Castle are back, we're going to have so many more options should a guy be having an off game. We're not wholly reliant on Wemby to have a big game to win
- Solid games from Champ and Dev. Devin had a huge contest on a fast break that cannot be overlooked
- Harper is just special man
- Keldon continues to just continue to pump in the energy into our team. Yesterday when the team was running on fumes, he filled the tank back up and helped drag us to the finish line
- I rated Bryant a little higher than consensus based on him finally contributing in other ways. He had a nice block and added 5 boards. Early in the season it was just chaos on defense and the occasional 3... now he is finding ways to fit into the bigger picture
- Jeremy... I don't know what can be said at this point.
- Mitch almost gave this one away by having Sochan in there late
- @spurs10 - A game I didn't expect to have. Fox had another strong game, with others like Devin, Julian, KJ, and Barnes providing a lot of spark. Luke saved the day and his pose will be long-lasting in my mind! Loved watching Harper as well. Have we lost when he is playing? Go Spurs!
- @Area 51.247 - SWAT&POSE#$&?BOXOUT#$&?SETAHARDSCREEN#$&?BOARD&OUTLET! Luke Kornet swats and poses his way into Spurs' winning plays mythology, bringing joy and happiness to all! POINTAMINUTE from the point guards? What an early gift for HB and the other vet's tired, wobbly fourth quarter legs to pull them through a tough game.
- @Snake Eyes - Fox and Harper were super clutch but their turnovers take them to a B+.
- @couchman - The zone defense was a great move by the coaching staff.
- @heyheymymy - Mitch and Sochan almost cost us the win. Fox, Harper and Kornet played great games to help SA pull it off.
- @Correct Crusader - Get sochan off my team please
- @LeBowen - What an amazing b2b effort by everyone. It's just that Sochan can't play basketball.
