Kornet is a solid impactful back up center who has also shown he can share the court with Wemby, and is on a great contract that gets smaller every year... no way I'd trade him for the #19 pick.

I'm mentioning it as an option, not necessarily advocating for it. But to be fair, the last three years of Isaac's contract will be below the MLE, so it's not really a huge payout. He'd be replacing someone like Olynyk, not a young player with future potential.

Jonathan Isaac is a bit of a strange character and has an injury history but he's fallen almost completely out of the rotation in Orlando, and his contract is reasonable. I don't see him as a starter. He's a guy that could excel as an impactful back up PF, and I know Wemby has even name-checked...

Wemby had 90% of a 5x5 with 31 pts, 14 rebs, 4 assists, 3 steals, & 6 blocks, and hardly anyone batted an eye.

The Pelicans accomplish what every team wants to do-- foul out Wemby-- and still lose because (among other things) Kornet is a +11. Most underrated FA signing of the year.
