The Spurs clearly outplayed them when I watched the replay this morning, but several bad calls, a few Spurs mistakes, and a lot of luck kept the Pelicans in it. Zion:16 FTA Wemby: 4 FTA Zion was initiating a lot of the contact and coming away with free throws that he didn’t deserve.

Kornet was responsible for so many second and third chance opportunities for the Spurs. He does all the little things that often go unnoticed. What a great pickup for the Spurs!
