Feels like we're going to turn the corner and get back on track. Tonight would be a good night to see a complete performance from this team. We haven't gotten one of those since the 3rd Thunder game.
Interesting, thanks for putting those together. One thing that seems to stand out, even when looking at other 5 man combos where you sub out the above for Castle and/or Harper, is the fact that without Wemby, or Kornet as his backup, our lineup is pretty small. Maybe the Pacers could do us an...
We've seen this team step up, so I know it's in there. Feels like we do a great job playing "down" to our level of competition and the Pelicans game is a great example.
The OG championship level Spurs teams would have stretches like this, and games like this, and we'd forgive them because we...
Usually a point guard has an idea of how to run an offense. Jeremy was lost out there, hence a team that was lost. His basketball IQ doesn't fit the prototype for a point guard, who should be the most court-aware person out there. Playing him as a PG was a huge mistake.
Mitch has undoubtedly made some "rookie" mistakes as a HC. I'd still say overall he's earning more than a passing grade...B to B+ in my book.
Does he (and the team) have the acumen to win a playoff series at this point? Hard to tell. I haven't seen him have to (or try to) adjust a whole...
I do wonder how he's going to fit in two years once Castle and Harper are more mature. That's a lot of money for a guy who may not even be in the starting lineup in 3 years. Depending on where the cap moves the juice may not be worth the squeeze.
It's shocking to me that we tried this guy as our starting PG. Sad we didn't give him a little run this year, but him rotting on the bench isn't going to make him any better. I'd of let him play in Austin to at least get reps and maybe give him a hint of trade value.
