    Trade Spurs Trade Ideas

We need an upgrade to Barnes as top priority.

I mean I get some of that, but Ive watched and seen him settle when he had plenty of time to get going. Ive seen him drive just to kick it out too (which is fine sometimes of course). He has the handle and speed to when ball swings to him he should immediately get going north south IMO

I dont like how reliant Fox is on jumpers. If this is who he is now, it’s an issue IMO. He’s obviously talented enough to still drop 30 point games; but the streakiness of the jump shooting is an issue and would like to see more aggression and consistent getting North/South on his own vs pulling...

It’s just tough because Kon has been so damn good. VJ been damn good. Flagg been unbelievable. I think Harper has been awesome too but due to team situation his stats don’t look the same as the other guys. But hes a winning player IMO. B

No matter how you slice it, it’s notable that CB is getting worked into rotation. Clearly Sochan is out and HB is just not cutting it as a starter. I love that Mitch is at least trying CB and getting him some minutes now to see how it goes. I really like his tools and have pretty high hopes...

Spurs at the Halfway Mark: What’s Your Take on the Season So Far?

Wemby truly said it perfectly IMO. Sums it up beautifully: Translated: “Mid-season, the Spurs have a record of 28-13, the second-best record in the West, which was unexpected before the season. And yet, they have let several games slip away and have had to deal with the absences of Victor...

Ya - their offensive numbers when LaMelo, Miller, Kon and Bridges are healthy are pretty staggering. If they can stay healthy for a stretch and be serious for once, they could actually push for play-in. MIL seems completely F’d unfortunately and ATL has a ridiculously easy schedule too.

We need MIL to start winning from here on out. Same with CHA. We need them to catch ATL and knock them out of play-in.

It’s not really about that at all tbh…winning a trade is subjective. It’s about process for me. Not resting on laurels and thinking things are good enough so you can take foot off gas. It’s not about trades only. It’s about draft. G-league and end of bench rosters. All phases.

Fox isnt making anyone better right now. He’s just settling for jumpers mostly. He’s not bending defenses or getting paint touches and collapsing defense and making great reads etc…I do think he can do those things. Feels like he’s “lebron’ing” right now and coasting some and fitting in

I dont blame him nearly as much. He’s so young and team is winning and he’s thrust into having to play winning ball immediately while learning.
