Yeah. There was a time when 20,000 points was a huge benchmark. And really only great players did it. Now solid players that have long careers and stay healthy can do that or at least come close.
The scoring is so out of control, It will get to the point where scoring 30,000 points is no longer special. Hell we are probably already there. James Harden is going to do it and who gives a shit?
You don’t need 3 teams obviously. It should’ve been US versus the world 1 game 2 teams. The more players the better since nobody wants to play heavy minutes anyway. Wemby could play like 10 minutes and then sit the rest of the game. Good by me..
He was a big part of the problem, but it’s just player empowerment in general. They make so much money, and they all feel like “we play when we wanna play and if you got a problem with that kick rocks”
I guess they did the 12 min games to try and motivate the players to play hard because the games are so short.. Like I said it just comes off desperate.
It is all just a confusing mess and comes off desperate.. The AS game was tons of fun when I was a kid. The players came to play the damn game. Today it's just a weekend off.
