    Trade Spurs Trade Ideas

Oly is "only" 2 yrs older, a much better shooter and better rounder, and doesn't cost you anything. Oly has shot 50% from the corners over the past 3 yrs, he provides the spacing and rebounding we need better than Kyle. Not sure Kyle's corporate knowledge from 8 season back does anything at all...

    Trade Spurs Trade Ideas

Averaging 56 games played a yr also factors into that. Kristaps has averaged 55, gets paid 1/2 as much, and is a much better defender and a better rebounder. Availability matters to serious contenders, paying 1/4 of your cap for a guy you can't count on to dress is bad business. I want no part...

Hopeful that they already have that guy-ish rostered. Champ is 6'8", big and long enough, career .372 from 3% on bad teams and without a set role, solid rebounder and Top40 this season (tiny sample), and a good enough defender funneling to Wemby & Kornet not to overpay for someone else. Plus...

    Expansion draft

If Harper doesn't lose minutes with Fox back, he's going to get real 6MOTY consideration. Brogdon got it with 14.9/4.2/3.7/0.7 with Quickley 2nd at 14.9/4.2/3.4/1 Naz went 13.5/5.2/1.3/0.8/0.9 with Monk 2nd at 15.4/2.9/5.1/0.6 Pritchard 14.3/3.8/3.5/0.9 with Beasley 2nd at 16.3/2.6/1.7/0.9...

I watched it to, he was talking about Kornet not being able to switch. It was "go at Kornet" instead of "Barnes or Champ" so that they could get a small on Kornet not because Barnes/Champ are better defenders.

This'll be one of the most interesting things this yr. His career high is 18.6mpg, but that's opportunity not ability. It's looking to me like they want him out there 25ish, that makes the PF spot easier to fill b/t Barnes/Keldon/Oly + Champ and Sochan. Loving Keldon back at the 4, 15 boards- 7...

Yes, very very ugly but very encouraging to get a win w/o Vic in OT. Castle and Harper played pretty poorly but still did enough to keep us in it and get the win. 9 more missed FTs, this one doesn't go to OT if we just hit 75% from the line, that's got to change. Seems very clear they plan to...

You don't have to hate on Keldon for the sake of it. 4 boards and 2 points on 2 shots in 5 minutes is hardly useless. 4 boards in 5 minutes is great actually, not useless

Love Vassel calling Castle over to get the ball/bring it up...that's different. Really looking like he understands he's not the main character

Analysis GRADES: Spurs @ Mavericks 10/22/2025

Highly recommend this if you haven't seen it. Stein knows basketball, saw Wemby's post game workout, he thinks Wemby is 7'6" or 7'7" now  Also brings up the GSG chant in Dallas. Did anyone else notice Wemby's reaction when he heard the chant? That was freaking awesome, want to find that clip.

Analysis GRADES: Spurs @ Mavericks 10/22/2025

No disagreement, I like Barnes and love his vet presence. He makes very few mistakes and is incredibly reliable in every way, but besides shooting he is very limited. He rebounds at the same rate as rookie Castle and injured Fox. He is a very bad rebounder at the 4 and a poor defender pretty...

CALL YOUR SHOT: The 2025-26 BaselineBums Bold Predictions Thread

Yes. Great soldier. I had all but given up on KJ, but not because of talent/production/effort but just because of fit. One thing everyone has to give to Keldon is his attitude and acceptance to changing roles. That dude went from a 22ppg scoring, to playing behind an undrafted Champ one season...

CALL YOUR SHOT: The 2025-26 BaselineBums Bold Predictions Thread

-Wemby in the realm of 27/13/4/4, taking closer to 5 3s per, but continues to attack the rim and draw fouls and cleans up the stupid TOs. -Fox shares the ball a lot more, proving he came here to win, not to score. He looks a lot like Tony from 05'-08', but gets back to 36-37%. His attempts fall...
